Subprocessors and other service providers
Last updated: October 2026
This page lists the outside companies that process personal data for Nuanso, what they receive, where, and how transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA) are protected. Nuanso is run by Sam Van Nuffel (sole proprietorship), Brusselsepoortstraat 134, 9000 Gent, Belgium, company number 0714.916.229.
Each of these companies may only use the data to provide its service to us, under a data processing agreement with obligations at least as protective as ours.
Changes. For customers, the companies in section 1 are our subprocessors under the Data Processing Agreement. We update this page and email the owner of every workspace at least 30 days before a new subprocessor starts processing customer data. A customer can object during that period, as the Data Processing Agreement describes.
1. Subprocessors for customer data
These process the data in a customer's workspace (ad account data, business profile, documents, chats, reports) on Nuanso's behalf.
| Company | What it does for Nuanso | Data it receives | Where / transfer safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Railway Corporation (United States) | Hosts the app, its database, logs and backups | All data stored by Nuanso | Servers in the EU (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Railway staff may access it from the US: Standard Contractual Clauses in Railway's data processing agreement |
| Anthropic, PBC (United States) | The AI model behind Nuno: answering questions, reading meeting notes and uploaded report files, judging search terms | Chat messages and history, business profile and memory, ad account data and search terms, document text, website information, meeting notes, uploaded report files | United States. Standard Contractual Clauses in Anthropic's data processing addendum. Anthropic deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days and does not train on them |
| Google (Gemini API; Google LLC, United States, and Google Ireland Ltd) | Reading websites and uploaded documents to build the business profile, picking out what to remember from chats, describing ad images and videos | Website text, document contents, short extracts of chat messages, ad images, videos and copy | Google's infrastructure, which can include the US. EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) and Standard Contractual Clauses in Google's data processing terms. On the paid service Google does not use the data to improve its products |
| Loops (Astrodon Corporation, United States) | Sending the performance emails a workspace switched on, and "report ready" notices | Recipient name and email, the figures in the email | United States. Standard Contractual Clauses in Loops' data processing agreement |
2. Services that receive only public web addresses
Nuanso uses these to fetch and measure public web pages, such as a customer's website and ad landing pages. They receive the page's address and nothing else from Nuanso: no account data and no workspace data.
| Company | What it does for Nuanso | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Firecrawl (SideGuide Technologies, Inc., United States) | Fetches public website pages | United States |
| Jina AI GmbH (Germany, part of Elastic N.V.) | Fallback for fetching public web pages | EU company |
| Google LLC (PageSpeed Insights API) | Measures landing-page speed | Google's infrastructure |
3. Providers for Nuanso's own data
These process data about Nuanso's users and website visitors, for which Nuanso itself is responsible (see our Privacy policy). They do not receive the data in customer workspaces.

4. Not subprocessors: the ad platforms you connect
Meta, Google Ads and LinkedIn are not Nuanso's subprocessors. A customer connects its own ad accounts and instructs Nuanso to read from them and, after a user approves, make changes in them. Data flows between Nuanso and these platforms on the customer's instruction, and each platform processes it under its own terms with the customer.
